At United Mint Campus, you work on real world projects for local and global companies – supported by bootcamps, workshops, mentors, and peers.
Depending on your interests, you may work on developing social media strategy for a start up, designing a 3D model for an inventor, or developing a budget for a film festival.

PROJECT INCUBATORS
PROJECT INCUBATORS
You get to choose which kinds of projects you’d like to explore. This way you get to test drive what it’s like to work in an industry before you spend 4 years in class just learning about it.
3D DESIGN + DEVELOPMENT

EXAMPLE PROJECT
“GAMING, VR, and VISUALIZATIONS”
Create libraries of objects and characters for gaming and VR solutions. Video games and real time solutions need extra content to offer a more realistic, interactive experience that engages your sensations. A specific modeling method is needed to allow 3D Real Time engines to manage all the polygons in the scene.
Create environments for Light+Fluid+Physics simulation. Creating environments for Physics simulation is necessary to test simulation solutions. Realistic simulation requires virtual reproductions of real sceneries.
APP DEVELOPMENT

EXAMPLE PROJECT
“VIDEO PLAYER APP”
The scope of this project is to create a branded video player app that will be able to stream videos from our client’s servers. The app will require a user to login and will have a curated list of videos available based on the user's profile.
The app will enable a user to browse or search through a list of available videos. The user will also receive notifications when a new video is available for his or her account.
Once the user selects a video, it will play in the video player in fullscreen mode. Here the user will be able to play, pause and seek the video. The user will also be able to change the bitrate of the streaming video.
In addition to streaming the user will be able to download a video which will enable offline viewing of that video.
All the information about video bit rates, durations, and sources will be provided via an SMIL xml file from the server.
